Since work leaves me so little time to do finished pieces, sketches and figure drawing sessions will have to do. At least until I put together my portfolio again. The good news is that todayI got a chance to see how my first illustrated books are going to be printed. I can't wait until August when they are released!  In any case, have sketches of a jogging cat lady :)

Full shade

So it turns out that my buddy just wanted a black and white, no background, fully shaded version of the boxing lady. So here it goes! I took Marilyn Monroe's face and I figured out the pose with a simple 3D model (not very accurate in proportions, as the trained eye may be able to tell).
