I love Boston. We visited Georges Island and took the opportunity to do a sketch of the Boston skyline far in the distance.

Harpy sketch

Besides my regular game design job, I've been working in a commission that is consuming most of my time. I have little time for sketches and almost no chance for ambition. This simple drawings is all I can show for now, until disclosure agreements and stuff of that sort are cleared with either my company or my colleagues, I suppose. Still, fun times for sure :)

Quick Sketch at the MFA

I did this quick sketch of an awesome Jefferson's bust that  I found at the MFA. Fun times!

When you have a short model session, you have to get the basic information in as few brushstrokes as possible, I think. I am still learning how to do that.

Sketching at the De Cordova Museum

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I went to the De Cordova Museum in Lincoln MA. It is a wonderful contemporary art museum that also rocks a great sculpture park with amazing pieces, some of them  hidden in the woods. I did not sketch any sculpture this time, but I was interested in a rock fence thing they had there. I should do more plain air sketching!
