Tonight's figure session

Is it a mistake to mix graphic statements with anatomy, observation and "believable" form? Some artists I respect have told me so. Add to that whatever ineptitude I may have in my drawings, and sometimes my drawing sessions leave me less confident than how I started. But I guess that means I'm learning new things, right? Fun times :)

They repeated the pose in last figure drawing session, so I decided to try further distortion. I think it could go MUCH further before breaking appeal. Next time I will steal take some inspiration from Kiraz. Live and learn :)

Had a hard time this figure session. Too tired, with a cold, forcing cartooning into something that required more measurement and anatomy. Oh well! Live and learn :D
